This week me, Portia and Maddy did a book review on a nonfiction book called A lions Story and it to ke us about 2 days to finish it and hope you like it.

Nonfiction Text Features - Scavenger Hunt

Different types of Font 4 examples of different types
Diagram What information do we get from diagrams?	How it works and the inside and outside.
Timeline What information do we get from a timeline?	You can use a timeline for telling you how to write your story.
Index Where in the book do you find the, ‘Index’?	At the start of the book.
Table of Contents Where in the book do you find the, ‘Table of Contents’?	Inside the book on the first page.
Glossary What is a glossary for?	If you want to write a list of names down in your book.
Graph What information do we get from graphs?	How much stuff we need.
Tables/Charts What information do we get from Tables and Charts?	It tells us how much we need to do or other things.
Maps What information do we get from maps?	Were we need to go.
Pictures and Captions Why do authors use pictures and captions together?	Do give us more information of how the story goes.

This week Miss MacKinnon told us to do a book review on a nonfiction book and I did it on How? Why? and When?. It toke me  about a day to do it so I finished early. So hope you enjoy reading my book review.

THE CREEPY HOUSE  

One day there was a little girl called Emma she was 11 years old. She was walking down the street and sore a house she went closer and closer and closer when she sore a doll saying your next little girl she went into the house and sore blood dripping down from the selling then a graveyard she read and read till she figured out that their was a ghost in a house she ran out of the house and figured out that the doll was holding her she screamed and screamed then she suddenly heard the doll saying  I told you that your next you shouldn't of come into this house she said then she screamed again and again till she got stabbed with the knife blood came. The doll laughed and said I love killing people soon I will take over the world and kill everybody and all the people in the world lived huntidely ever after.

This week Miss MacKinnon put us in groups. Each group had to make a different food or drink. My group had to make a halloween PIZZA. Here is a food slide that will show you how to make a halloween pizza so hope you enjoy.

Next week Room 15 are going to prepare food for a food tasting Market. Before we were allowed to prepare food we had to earn a Food Safety and Hygiene certificate.We had to pass a Kahoot test and  we had to create a google slide about Food Safety and Hygiene.

MY MORNING WAKE UP

On Monday morning my  dad woke me up saying  honey it’s Monday wooo hoooo wake up I gave him a hug and climbed on his back then as soon as he puts  me on his back I fall asleep drooling as he walk’s it felt like I was on a couch flying through the sky. Then he walks into his room and puts me on his bed I hear the TV singing and talking I hug my brothers leg and fall asleep again 2 mins later my mom says honey wake up I wake up again and see a light shining in my eyes I ask my mom to switch it off but she said no!

Today it was Monday the 6th of August 2018 Miss MacKinnon told us to do another Moment In Time and I did one about how I wake up. If you don't now how to do a moment in time I will show you. First draw a time line Second write Third edit Fourth put it on your blog. Hope you enjoy reading my writing.
